Summertime Family Fun!

Aaron’s Books Announces “Family Fun Night”
for Summertime

Aaron’s Books (Lititz, PA) has added another free community event to its ever-growing public offerings. On the third Thursday of each month this summer, May through August, Aaron’s Books opens its doors in the evenings to families of the Lancaster area. This is a time for families to come together, play games, and find books in a fun atmosphere. Each “Family Fun Night” will feature tables of games and puzzles, crafts, snacks, and special entertainments. The event lasts from 5 to 8pm, and during those hours all children’s books are 10% off.

The special entertainments are as follows:

May 21- Magic tricks and balloon animals with Lititz favorites “Insanity Factor”! Insanity Factor is the husband and wife team of Michelle and Tait, who met while attending Millersville University. They perform magic throughout the area at farmer’s markets and street fairs, and are favorites during Lititz’s Second Friday activities.

June 18- We’ll enjoy the acoustic music of Ben Pierson. Mr. Pierson, a regular performer at regional coffee houses, is also a teacher at the Montessori Academy of Lancaster and enjoys sharing his love of music with young listeners and singers. He’ll play fun songs we can all sing and dance to, and children will be encouraged to join along on homemade instruments they can make at Aaron’s Books that evening.

July 16- Children are invited to write and illustrate their own short picture books as part of Family Fun Night in July. Children can add their work to our store display celebrating America’s birthday month.

August 20- Family Fun Night will feature short films related to some of our favorite books and songs. Children will also be invited to help make a documentary movie about books they love.

Other Family Friendly events coming this summer:

Tuesday, May 26, 10am- Story time, sponsored by Children's Corner at Moravian Manor. Some fun summer themed stories, with crafts and snack. FREE, no reservation needed

Friday, June 12- local children's book author Faith Reese Martin returns to read from and sign the third book in her History Mystery Detect ice Agency Series. This one features PIRATES & TREASURE & is titled Pirate Problems

Book Launch Lititz by Kathy Blankenbiller

"Lititz" by Kathy Blankebiller is now available!! We're hosting her first public book signing on Friday, May 8, from 5 to 8pm. This video is scenes from her book launch party we hosted on Wednesday.
